Here we go again...

Hey everybody. It's 3:15 in the morning as I write this and we are bouncing our way across Arkansas. You folks in Arkansas need to write your Congressman about these roads! We are on our way to Waldron, AR for the Turkey Tracks Bluegrass Festival. We have our good friend Troy Engle along to help us out on the banjo. Weston had some school matters to attend to that prevented him from making the trip with us. For those of you keeping score at home, this is Troy's second trip out with us. Apparently he is a glutton for punishment.

So far, nothing really interesting has happened other than being scared out of our minds back in Mississippi. We apparently ran over something because we heard a loud thud while we were motoring across the middle of nowhere at about 70 miles an hour. We finally found a place to pull over and got out and inspected the bus. Everything seemed to be in order so we got back on our way.

Be sure to check back later, as I will be updating as often as I can to keep you posted on the happenings from the big city of Waldron. I think I heard them say that we are close to stopping for the night and that makes me happy. It's really hard to sleep on these Arkansas roads.

Back after some sleep (fingers crossed!)...
